High Tech Rochester Inc. and MedTech will hold the next in their series of roundtable discussions April 15.
The topic is “From Prototype to Production,” and will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the RochesterBioVentureCenter.
The Roundtable Discussion Series is collaboration between HTR and MedTech to enhance growth opportunities for a broad range of medical device and life-science companies throughout Upstate New York. MedTech is a non-profit trade association of Upstate New York technology manufacturers, research institutions, and allied professional services and economic development organizations.
This month’s discussion will focus on the best practices and issues that are often encountered when advancing medical devices from prototype stage to mass production, organizers said. Medical device manufacturers from the Rochester area will present and engage in discussion with the group. Presenters include Peter Schott, president and owner of XLI Corp., and William Grande, vice president of research and business development, MicroPen Technologies Corp.
