James Senall, managing director of business development at Greater Rochester Enterprise Inc. since 2003, is the new president of High Tech Rochester Inc.
Senall is slated to leave GRE on Feb. 13 and begin work for HTR on Feb. 16. He replaces Paul Wetenhall, who left HTR last May to become president and executive director at the Ben Craig Center business incubator at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
HTR, a non-profit with an annual budget of some $2.5 million, has 15 full-time employees. Entrepreneurs-in-residence and contractual workers bring the total staff to between 20 and 30. The organization had revenue of $2.9 million in 2008, Senall said.
