Mike Haugh, Director, HTR-MEP, Manufacturing Assistance Center for the Finger Lakes Region

Mike brings over 35 years of management and consulting experience to the task of directing the MEP program in the nine county Finger Lakes Region.  As Managing Director, he oversees the work of the Center's team of Project Managers and coordinates MEP activities with other local, regional, state and national resources. In addition, he provides direct client services, focusing on strategic consulting and executive coaching.

Mike's experience is especially well suited to this position: In his early career, he worked in large company environments, including 13 years as a financial, marketing and business unit manager with Mobil Chemical. In 1988, he established an independent consulting business, focusing on smaller company turnaround situations and firms in need of major process and cultural change. A wide variety of clients has included firms in industries as diverse as injection molding, OEM plumbing parts, shoe manufacturing and Christmas lighting. In longer term assignments, he has served as President, General Manager and CFO of his client companies.

Mike is a graduate of Williams College with a BA in History and earned a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Virgina's Darden School.
