Kathy Goforth, HTR Program Coordinator

Kathy is HTR's Program Coordinator working closely with the Marketing and Programs Manager to plan and execute HTR's programs and events along with supporting several advisory committees including the Board. Kathy manages all Lennox TEC internal programs, including InfoBytes, CEO Roundtable, New Client introductions, social events, and special events.

Kathy also supports external programs, all new venture and tech commercialization events, and major programs such as the Rochester Entrepreneurship Conference (with UR/RIT staff), Rochester Regional Business Plan contest, Pre-seed Workshop, and Entrepreneur Boot Camp.

Kathy joined the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Department in 1984 as an administrative assistant. In this era, the seeds were planted for the organization that would later become High Tech Rochester in 1987.

Tracing HTR's evolution from the very start, Kathy has served in a variety of support roles, working most of her HTR career in the downtown office as the Office Coordinator and has recently transitioned into the role of Program Coordinator at TEC.

Kathy has lived in Rochester all her life. When she isn't working, Kathy contributes her time to the High Falls Film Festival, Rochester Committee on Latin America and is an activist with Metro Justice. Beyond social causes, she also has a lifelong love of travel encountering different people, languages and cultures. Kathy is a big fan of Rochester's cultural scene with favorites including the Little Theatre and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
