Batting Cage

HTR is pleased to announce a new program called The Batting Cage, geared for technology focused entrepreneurs in the greater Rochester community to practice the company pitch!

About the Batting Cage
The Batting Cage is an opportunity for you to practice your pitch in front of a panel of experienced startup coaches to gain valuable, honest feedback in a
non-confrontational way.

How Does it Work?
Sign up for 90 minute time slots and specify if you want to have a formal or informal presentation style (a formal presentation style would mimic a presentation to potential investors; an informal presentation would be a more casual, relaxed atmosphere).

The panel of coaches will typically include HTR’s Director of New Ventures, Technology Commercialization Managers, and potentially one of HTR’s Entrepreneurs-In-Residence.

HTR is offering these sessions to help you both practice your pitch and more importantly, to get the feedback that you rarely, if ever, get when presenting to investors. After you incorporate the feedback, you can sign up for another Batting Cage session to practice your revised pitch.

Who Should Participate?
The Batting Cage is appropriate for any technology focused entrepreneur who needs to practice their “pitch” before meeting with private investors or banks, or interviewing potential employees, etc.

Location
Batting Cage sessions will be held at HTR’s Lennox Tech Enterprise Center
150 Lucius Gordon Drive, West Henrietta, 14586.
