Joe LazarusJoe Lazarus has a broad range of executive-level experience in general management, with a foundation in finance. Mr. Lazarus’s experience ranges from corporate finance at Fortune 500 companies, to developing structure in start-up companies.
Mr. Lazarus was the CFO for MCCI Corporation, a successful software company that develops embedded software. Mr. Lazarus oversaw the expansion of the company from a single office in Ithaca with 30 employees, to multiple offices around the globe and nearly 100 employees. During his tenure with MCCI, the company revenue base (including deferred revenues) grew from $3 million to nearly $20 million. He directly worked on setting up sales support offices in several Asia-Pacific locations and the US. Mr. Lazarus also negotiated an acquisition and completed 2 multi-million dollar funding rounds for MCCI Corporation.
Mr. Lazarus has worked as a leader in the Financial Planning and Analysis functions at GE Capital (Vendor Financial Services) and Frontier Corporation. While employed at GE Capital, he completed the Six Sigma Greenbelt program and the GE Executive Leadership program. He has also held Associate (adjunct) faculty rank at the State University of New York at Brockport, where he taught Finance and Operations Management. He received his MBA-Finance & Technology Management, and his MS-Software Development & Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
