SBIR / STTR and Other Federal, State, and Local Grant Opportunities

This new, unique service from High Tech Rochester (HTR) provides subscribers with a combination of customized grant information, grant writing tips and strategies, and listings of over $2 billion annually in SBIR/STTR and other grants from state and local governments and foundations that your company may choose to apply for.

The customized grant information in the monthly alert is unique to each subscriber. Customized content is collected by an HTR researcher who sifts through the myriad grant opportunities to present you with grant solicitations that best fit the criteria you specify for your business and technology interests. Information about the grants—the offering organization, solicitation title and abstract, funding amounts, eligibility criteria, contact information and deadlines—is presented on page one of the alert. Because grant programs vary from month-to-month, we can’t guarantee that you will get an opportunity every month, but if there is at least one that we find in our search you will know about it! Our research staff will also be available to discuss the solicitation and your current business interests to determine the degree of fit with your plans and modify the search criteria, if needed.

This customized service will save each subscriber untold hours of time every month and the regular monthly e-alerts will have constancy of purpose for those that have always intended to keep abreast of grant opportunities, but don’t always have time to get to.

General grant opportunities from federal, state, and local governmental agencies as well as regional foundations will also be listed in each monthly alert. While these listings may not be as “spot-on” as the customized service you might find an unexpected opportunity or a funding prospect for a related technology that offers synergy to your primary development strategy.

The alert service is distributed by e-mail during the first full work week of each month. When you register for your subscription, you will be contacted by an HTR research staff member to discuss your grant interests and select relevant search terms for your customized alerts. A preliminary search for grants fitting your criteria will be conducted and forwarded to you for verifying the general fit to your requirements. This will also give you current grant possibilities that you could take immediate action on.Your regular monthly alert service will begin on the first full business week following your registration.
